i was on a mission for a new blogger theme when i found these fashion scribbles of katie gallagher . i thought they'd be nice to have it blown up, framed and hang on the walls of my now-imaginary-boutique-expansion plans. sobs.. it didn't push through cause we had to leave town. for good i think.. don't ask why.

katie who? i had no idea until now. according to my good friend google, she's a new york based fashion designer. and according to me, based on how far image search my slow globe tats is giving me, most of her designs are in hues black, white and gray.

hmmmm. they'd look nice in a bedroom too.. i wish in mine though.

this year my wishlist's going to be  practical and realistic. no out-of-the-country trips or gadgets i don't really need..

1. Clinique Happy. i really wanted to try this one ever since i saw the movie juno.. hahaha.

2. Toms Shoes in Khaki. A color easy to pair with anything.

3.  Bangle-Type Guess Watch. My watch obsession started with this one.  and unless i have this exact same watch, i will never stop thinking about it.

4.  Simple Shoes' Women's Toepaz-Hemp. I didn't even liked it the first time. but when i tried it on my feet just started singing!

i've been dreaming of going to Sarangani ever since i heard that their white beaches are as beautiful as boracay's. it's silly being in the same island (mindanao) and not being able to go there. look how beautiful they are!

i rarely challenge myself to ask my parents to allow me to go out of town with just me and my friends before [yeah even at this age]. i guess maybe because i hate having to ask what i already know. and the answer had always been no. but this time, i'll try my rotten luck again.

Let's travel to Sarangani!!

The Only Exception

I'd never sing of love if it does not exist

But Darlin...
you are the only exception

maybe i know somewhere deep in my soul
that love never lasts
and we've got to find other ways to make it alone
keep a straight face
and i've always lived like this
keeping a comfortable distance
and up until now i had sworn to myself
that I'm content with loneliness
because none of it was ever worth the risk

well you are the only exception

i've got a tight grip on reality
but i can't let go of what's in front of me here
i know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up
leave me with some kind of proof it's not a dream

and I'm on my way to believing
oh and I'm on my way to believing

WHOOPS WRONG DAISY
Words & Music: Neill C. Furio
Performed by MARIE FRANK

April showers March forgot
Sprouting from my flowerpot
Stems entwine a lover’s knot
Petal white meet yellow dot

He loves me he loves me not
He loves me he loves me not
He loves me he ... he ... he ...

Whoops wrong daisy
I must have been crazy
To pick one that couldn’t pick me

Summer swelter simmer hot
Rattling my corncob pot
Mango butter apricot
Picnic white meet shady spot

He loves me he loves me not
He loves me he loves me not

He loves me he ... he ... he ...

Whoops wrong daisy
I must have been crazy
To pick one that couldn’t pick me
Whoops wrong daisy
My day’s fever hazy
I’m dreamin’ I do you agree

There’s a sunny meadow’s worth
But I’ve been pickin’ wrong since birth

Winter hours novel plot
Curling from my chimney pot
Hope’s eternal spring is shot
Paper white meet inky blot

Forget me forget me not
Forget me forget me not
Forget me four ... three ... two ... one ...

Whoops wrong daisy
I must have been crazy
To pick one that couldn’t pick me
Whoops wrong daisy
My night’s out of phasey
I’m wakin’ unfortunately

i love marc jacobs! although i'm not even close to that being rich to ever own one, i coveted his designs more than any other designers' out there. let's say i watch a lot of fashion shows on tv and the only collection i can imagine myself wearing are his!

and his little miss marc designs are the most i crave for. they're cute and crazy! oh i wish....
and my headshot looks adorable too! hehehe. i can't help but wonder how my business contacts take me seriously with an image like that on our private messages. haha.

so loving the song!!

i have recently developed a crush on kimonos, be it on blouses or maxis. just ordered a few kimono styled blouses online today and currently thinking of getting one kimono maxi but i'm not sure if i even have the guts to wear one. i was hoping i could put together some pieces that are somewhat similar with what i have on my (or my mom's and bhes') closet and a maxi that looked like this one here, to convince myself that maybe i can pull it off.  defiinitely not in cotabato, lol. this set reminds me of penny lane (almost famous) and jenny (forrest gump).
Winter Kate Kimono Dress, juicy couture lively gladiators, talullah tu cuff bracelet, victoria's secret beauty rush lip gloss, Gap Suede fringe hobo

mashing corporate pieces with a little bit of goth

i never really considered myself a cellphone person.. if only my former phone didn't die on me for like, every five minutes, i would have probably never feel the need to replace it. i rarely text. i just purchased my phone about six months ago. thought it would be a good investment. it looks durable, the type that will last for six years, like my old phone.

but now i find myself lusting over this Samsung Corby Mate B3313.

clearly, longevity wasn't the first thing i considered. it looks so cute!

the year went pretty flat for me, gladiator flats that is.  splurged on a lot of glads this year. now with a new year pending and with a hazy future ahead, i finally decided that maybe it's time to heighten things up a little bit. be more daring and dashing to be exact, welcome opportunities, resetting goals and accepting challenges. this is why i'm including these shoes (or something like these), on my 2010 wish list. like they would help. hahaha! photos from Anabel Cristobal.

while i cant afford a pair of Christian Louboutin's (yet! haha)

and yep. i'm still mad for gladiators. i'll forever be.

i guess the million dollar question is..... WILL I ABLE TO PULL THESE OFF?
hahaha! we'll see. Happy New Year Everyone!
